As a woman in business I have often felt that I have to act like a man to succeed. I don’t recall anyone ever telling me to lead like a girl.

In fact I’ve felt that the things that made me a woman were often squashed and an inconvenience to others and to the way the world works.

Denying my own feminine nature has left me feeling exhausted, disconnected, and deeply saddened.

While masculine energy tends to be strong, action oriented, logical, structured, ​ feminine energy tends to be creative, intuitive, fluid, slower and things of this nature.

I realize this is a generalized statement and I don’t believe one is better than the other. I believe we all need both for balance, for harmony in life.

You can be strong and still be soft. Independent and still need support. Have boundaries and still be empathetic. Be direct and yet be kind.

In fact this is how to truly live.

I have watched countless women struggle especially the past few years and believe it is time to reconnect with each other and to tune into our unique essence.
